He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Hunter and Jessie Hunter (Astle). He is survived by : his siblings, Nelson, Elwood, Scott, Reginald, Donald, Neil, Maxine Conroy and Ruth Price; his wife Isabel Hunter; his daughters, Valerie Yantha, Susan Boisclair (André) and Patricia Weir (Bob); and his grandchildren, Sabrina Mellroy (Trevor), Robert Yantha, Yves Boisclair (Shanon), Jessie Boisclair, Meagan Walsh (Adam) and Michael Weir. He is also survived by nine great grand children.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Oromocto would be greatly appreciated by the family.

“Our sincere condolences to the Hunter family. Floyd was a fine gentleman. We worked together in the Training Resources Department, Royal Canadian School of Artillery at CFB Gagetown from 1982 - 85. “Tab” was a hard worker and a good friend. We always enjoyed his candour and dry humour. My deepest sympathy. RIP - Stand Easy - Rest CWO (Ret’d) Don Walker”
