She was predeceased by : her husband Don Hawkes; her siblings, Emma, Edna, Violet, Frieda, Seaford and Ernie; and her great grandchild Keaton.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Pippy (David) and Gord Hawkes (Debby); her sister Marie (Lloyd); her grandchildren, Selina (Jason), Lucinda (Rodney), Shawn (Sarah), Meaghan (Adam) and Kristin (Lance); and her great grandchildren, Kent, Carter, Lilly, Adele, Cameron, Lucas, Van and Eva.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home (108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB E2V1C7).
