He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Andrew Gray and Kathleen Gray (Cyr); his wife Dorothea Heinzmann; and his siblings, Edward Gray, G. William "Billie" Gray, Gary Gray, Paul Gray, Francis "Poppy" Gray and Phyllis Gray.
He is survived by: his sisters, Pam Duguay (Abbey), Catherine Gray, Mary Gray and Dianne Gray (Larry); his children, Amber Gray (Stephen) and Allison Heinzmann (Max); and his grandchildren, Layla Davidson, Michael Landry-Heinzmann and Austin Landry-Heinzmann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
