He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Howard Spencer and Glenna Annie Spencer (Nason); his parents-in-law, Vivian and Harry Lynch; his siblings, Darlene Savoie, Clifford Spencer and Wayne Spencer; his siblings-in-law, Harold Savoie, Bill Nichols, Wendall Hunter, Gene Hovey, Ellen Hunter, Tammy Lyons and Brenda Spencer; his nephews, Jason Spencer and Dana Rumble; and his pet Mitters.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Spencer (Lynch) of Parker Ridge; his children, PJ Spencer of Parker Ridge, Wesley Spencer (Melissa) of Middle Hainesville, Kent Jewett of White Court, Alberta and Melissa Verrill of Oromocto; his grandchildren, Azrieal Dawson (Jordon) of Fredericton, Eric Spencer of Middle Hainesville, Kyla Jewett of Fredericton, Jenna Jewett (Danny) of White Court and Liam Verrill of Oromocto; his great grandchildren, Weston Brewer, Keagan Brewer, Nevaeh Kennedy and Eli Lord; his siblings, Melvin Spencer (Donna) of Fredericton, Morton Spencer (Susan) of Parker Ridge, Lynn Nichols of Grand Bay and Rowena Rumble of Fredericton; his aunt Rena Harris (Donnie) of Harvey; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Spencer and Donna Hovey; his daughter-in-law Kim Townsend; and his brothers-in-law, Melvin Hovey (Brenda), Wally Lynch and Eugene Lyons. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
