He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rupert and Christina Rupert (Ryder); his grandson Douglas; and his siblings, Hazen, Royce, Lorne, Jenny, Irma and Rhona.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Rupert (Cripps); his children, Troy Rupert of Hampton, Bruce Rupert (Shelley) of Hampton, Lorrie McMonagle of Oromocto, NB and Heather Tait (Rob) of Hampton, NB; his stepdaughters, Kate McCann (Scott) of Passekeag, NB and Diana Reuvekamp (James) of Passekeag, NB; his grandchildren, Zachery, Rebecca, Amy, Ashley, Timothy, Sarahlee, Jordanne, Cooper, Ella, Avery and Allie; his sister Audrey Rupert; and his sisters-in-law, Florence Rupert and Lorna Rupert. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
