She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Lawson and Gertrude Lawson (Watson); her husband Ralph Sewell; her siblings, Murray Lawson (Helen), Phil Lawson, Lois Lawson and Winston Lawson (Mary); her son Corry Sewell; and her siblings-in-law, Marion Lawson, John Likely, Judy Lawson, Sylvia Sewell, Gerald Sewell and Lawrence Sewell (Laureen).
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Jones (Chris) of Guelph, ON, Shirley McKell (Kevin) of Pembroke, NB, Connie Sanford (Darryl) of Liverpool, NY and Natasja Sewell; her grandchildren, Jolynn, Hillary (Boen), Michael (Erika), Sarah (Isaiah), Victoria (Nate), Benjamin and Joy; her great grandchildren, Eli and Aria Sanford; her siblings, Willard Lawson, Carole Likely, Frank Lawson and Lloyd Lawson (Wilma); and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Lawson and Ethel Sewell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (815 Main St, Woodstock, NB E7M2E9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home Chapel (815 Main St, Woodstock, NB E7M2E9).
