He was predeceased by: his parents, Hanford Gaudett and Olive Gaudett (Cooke); his siblings, David and Ruth Justason (George "Chuck"); his siblings-in-law, Gary Henderson, Bill Wilkinson, Donald Dwyer and Lorraine Gaudett; his great-niece Stephanie Dwyer; and his great-nephew Rodney Robertson.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Malone) of Pennfield, NB; his daughter Heather of Pennfield, NB; his grandchildren, Aurora Gaudett (Braylin Tiner) and Able McFarlane; his sisters, Alberta Wilkinson of Blacks Harbour, NB, Rose Nickerson (Doug Floyd) of Saint John, NB and Cindy Henderson (Dave) of Fredericton, NB; his aunts and uncles, Fowler Gaudett of Saint John, NB, Joe Cooke (Anne) of Beaver Harbour, NB, Juanita Cheney of Saint John, NB and Beverly Justason of St. Andrews; his siblings-in-law, Joan Dwyer of Saint John, NB, Norma Malone of Quispamsis, NB, Debbie Robichaud (Jim) of Saint John, NB and Gary Malone (Donna) of LeHave, NS; and his goddaughter Tara Malone. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Mackie's memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Association of New Brunswick or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
