With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Karen Smith of Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, born in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her father Clifford Chase; and her grandparents, Milledge, Jean Taylor, Garfield and Rachel Chase.

She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Chase (Taylor); her husband Christopher Smith; her son Dillon Chase of Glassville, NB; her siblings, Calvin Chase of Perth-Andover, NB and Jean McDougall (Jason) of Plaster Rock, NB; her stepsiblings, Patricia Bowmaster (Calvin) of Arthurette, NB, Tina Michaud of Grand Falls, NB, Eddy Michaud (Dawn Forsyth) of Lower Durham, NB and Troy Michaud of Fredericton, NB; and her friends, Paula, Joe, Steven and Sandra. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
