She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Jones and Margaret Jones (Hunt); her sisters, Phyllis Jones and Suzanna Carlton (Jones); and her granddaughter Claire Annaline Tobias Perron.

She is survived by: her husband James "Dick" Tobias; her children, Dorothy McIllwraith (Ron), Derek Tobias and Daphne Goodwin (Larry); her grandchildren, Matthew McIllwraith, Kaitlyn McIllwraith, James McIllwraith, Kristen McIllwraith, Rebecca McIllwraith, Emma McIllwraith and Oliver Perron; and her brother Edward Jones. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
