She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Roy Alward and Leata Alward; her husband Rae Gillies; her children, Janice Mweemba (Akaps), Sharon Fawcett (Tim) and Brett Gillies (Marcy); her grandchildren, Lauren, Jenna, Kalinda, Hillary, Taylor and Julia; her siblings, Ardith Colpitts (Dave) and Brent Alward; and her friend Diana Hall. She was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
If desired, donations to the IWK Children's Charity, Friends of the Moncton Hospital, or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by her family.
