He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Atkinson and Ivah Atkinson (Lewis); and his siblings, June LeBlanc, Brian, Floyd, Basil, Gerry, Stan and Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce (McCully); his children, Brian Atkinson (Cindy) and Beverly McMackin (Eric); his grandchildren, Justin (Laura), Katie, Zack (Erin), Joshua (Samantha) and Aaron (Erin); his pet Pepper; and his sisters-in-law, Sylvia and Alida Atkinson. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
If desired, donations made to the Cancer Society or the Petitcodiac Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
