Bertha Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Smith of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, born in Stilesville, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 13, 2022 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bertha Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Briggs and Grace Briggs; her husband Laurie Smith; and her siblings, Martin Briggs, Russell Briggs, George Coates and Evelyn West.

She is survived by : her daughters, Annie-Laurie MacMillan (Mitch) of Williamstown, NB and Margaret Smith of Williamstown, NB; her grandchildren, Bradley MacMillan (Jenna), Emily Chase (Brandyn) and Alyson White (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Kyle, Grace, Adeline, Elizabeth and Daniel. She is also survived by Mom loved her family deeply and was a wonderful mother of her two girls.

The family recommends that people attending the visitation or memorial service to please wear a mask.
