He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Tapley and Vivian Tapley (Porter); his former wife Deborah Tapley (Everett); and his siblings, Barbara Goodine and Norman Tapley.

He is survived by: his wife Grace Ann Tapley (Agnew); his children, Angela Steeves (Tony) of Wheaton Settlement, NB, Farrah Tapley (Chris Gagnon) of Plaster Rock, NB and Leigh Tapley of Plaster Rock, NB; his grandchildren, Jarret, Chance, Daily, Sydney and Kohen; and his siblings, Lena Lacey of Plaster Rock, NB, Sharon Paget of Plaster Rock, NB, Peggy Jenkins (Preston) of Plaster Rock, NB, Patty Oleksyn (Terry) of Lamont, AB, Richard Tapley (Dorothy) of Mississauga, ON and Roger Tapley (Colleen) of Lamont, AB. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Mama Bear Cancer Assistance Fund would be appreciated by the family.
