Connie DeMerchant Obituary

We bid farewell to Connie DeMerchant (Plaster Rock, New Brunswick), born in Johnville, New Brunswick, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 24, 2025 at the age of 80. Connie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas and Seretha; her siblings, Josephine, Mary, Francina and Melvin; her daughter Annette; and her niece Nola.

She is survived by: her children, Troy (Sarah) and Wendi (Chris); her grandchildren, Liam (Claire), Tess (Matt), Erin (Chris), Nate (Mya), Tristan (Cassidy) and Travis (Kayla); her great grandchildren, Anna (Justin), Elijah, Scottie and Baby Boy DeMerchant; her siblings' children, Denise and Danny Breau; and her siblings, Clara Cavanaugh (Ray), Dorothy Foster (Gary), Sharon Templeton, Sheila Alexander (Gary), Alma Allan (Fred), Trudy Rogers (Drake), Paul Kilfoil (Jane) and Douglas Kilfoil (Maureen). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (181 Main St, Plaster Rock, NB E7G2H1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

The family have requested donations to Johnville cemetery in lieu of flowers.
