It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Ward of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, who passed away at the age of 88, on January 4, 2022. He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Ward and Mary Elizabeth Ward (Brown); his former life partner Marilyn Ward; his son Donald George Ward; and his siblings, Jean McElroy, Dolly Milton, Grace Coughlan, Alexander, Douglas and Lawrence Ward.

He is survived by : his wife Jeanette Ward (Morrison); his children, Ruth Porter of Saint John, NB, Randy Ward of Moncton, NB and John Edward Ward (Deanna) of Calgary, AB; and his sisters, Ruth Fulton of Plaster Rock, NB, Doreen Knowles of Aroostook, NB and Linda Briggs (Alex) of North View, NB. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 29 or the Victoria County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
