She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruth Lantz (Ross) and John Reid Lantz; her husband Donald Gloag West; and her siblings, Wilfred Lantz, Sarah Varner, Jacquline Parker and Mary Neville.

She is survived by : her children, Robert Reid West (Lorraine Jaksic) of Ottawa, Tamara and Langley Jaksic; her granddaughters, Britta Regan West (Kevin Jamieson) of Vancouver, BC and Carling Marie West-Ortiz of Portland, OR; her great grandchild Maitri Pepper Jamieson; and her friend Fredericton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
