He was predeceased by : his parents, George "Percy" Martin and Jeannette Martin (Clavette); his common-law partner Linda Lou Cleghorn; and his siblings, Bertrand Martin, Lorianne Williams, Fidèle Martin and Carmen Donovan.

He is survived by : his son Bertrand Martin (Denise DeLeavey) of Plaster Rock; his grandchildren, Jasmine and Alexandre Martin; and his siblings, Elaine Fournier (John) of Carlingford, Ferne Dee of Tinker, Réal Martin of Saint-André, Linda Martin of Drummond, Roger Martin of Alberta, Gilbert Martin (Leona) of Quebec, George Martin (Marcella) and Philllip Martin (Danielle) of Drummond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
