He was predeceased by: his daughter Carrie Edna Stone; his granddaughter Rayanne Carrie Thornton; his parents, Harold Stone and Frederica Stone (Brewer); his brother Edwin Stone (late Ann); his sister-in-law Marion Stone (Bell); and his in-laws, Roy Cunningham, Phillip Lawson, Wayne Kitchen and Doreen Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Stone (Bell); his children, Jerry Stone (Pat) and Angie Thornton (Raymond); his grandchildren, Leslie (Simon), Kaitlyn (Hannah) and Jeremy; his great grandchildren, Kinley and Dean; his siblings, Donnie Stone (Julie), Carolyn Kerton (Neal), Gary Stone (Nancy), Eugene Stone (Audrey) and Wayne Stone (Kathy); his in-laws, Ellen Cunningham, Margaret Lawson, Gerald Bell (Carol), Jean Kitchen, Willis Bell (Sally), Charles Bell (Linda), Wayne Bell (Debbie) and Diane MacIlroy (Ashley); and his close friend Terry Bunker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
