Bateman (Port Elgin, New Brunswick), born in Sackville, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 16, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerald Edward Trenholm and Mamie Clementine Trenholm (Tufts); and her brother Jerald Jr. Trenholm. She is survived by: her sons, Daryn Bateman, John "Bill" Bateman (Sandra), Robert Bateman (Elena) and Arthur Winston "Dougie"; her siblings, Laura Estabrooks (Wylie), Sydney Trenholm, Cora Sears, Carson Trenholm (Peggy), Ray Trenholm (Lisa) and Laurina Trenholm (Dwayne Fillmore); and her grandchildren, Brandi Waye Kirby (Jay) and Montana MacKay. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elgin Chapel (3 W. Main Street, Port Elgin, NB E4M1L6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM.
