He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Logan and Mary Jane Logan. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his daughters, Alison Logan Watt (Larry MacFadyen) and Nikki Rogers (Wally Pittman); his grandchildren, Sara Watt Ferris (Adam), Megan Watt Lister (Peter), James Logan Watt (Audrey Hodgins), Alexander Rogers and Lauren Rogers; his stepgrandchildren, David MacFadyen (Jessica) and Monica MacFadyen Crocker (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Payton Rae Ferris, Robbie Jane Lister and Jim Lister; his brother David Logan (Lilian); his nieces, Karen Young (Logan) of Newcastle, England. and Lesley Oliver (Logan) of Newcastle, England.; Rory and Elijah.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dr. Alan Logan's memory may be made to the Bermuda Aquarium, the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS), or to the University of New Brunswick, Saint John Campus.
