He was predeceased by : his parents, William F. McIllwraith and Hilda McIllwraith (Sudsbear); and his brother Michael. He is survived by : his wife Linda McIllwraith (Kelly); his sons, Shawn of Calgary, AB and Adam (Joanni) of Kingston; his grandson James; his nephew Shane Foster; his sisters, Annette McIllwraith of Saint John and Hilda Foster of Saint John; and his in-laws, Brian, Teresa Chaisson, Stephen Kelly and David Kelly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill can be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation.
