She was predeceased by : her parents, Darryl Gates and Audrey Gates (Kyle); her husband R. "Brian" James; and her brother Robert Gates. She is survived by : her stepson Robert James (Jill); her granddaughters, Hannah and Grace James; her nephew Ron James (Tina); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mikki and Caleb; her sisters, Cathy Sherman (Howie) and Darrellene McGillivary (Hugh); and her daughter Krista Stackhouse (Kris).
