She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Gorman and Catherine Gorman of Saint John; her former husband Deacon Robert Brittain; and her siblings, Douglas, Louis and Kathleen.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond Perks; her son Alan Thorley of Tatamagouche, NS; her grandchild Wren; her son John Thorley (Rachel) of Moncton, NB; her grandchildren, William Dominik and Jada; her great grandchild Sara Titus (Joe); her grandson Ezra Thorley; her sisters, MaryLou Hickey (Patrick) of Bayswater and Patricia McGraw (Emery) of Kingston, NB; her sister-in-law Darleen Knox; Emily of Canmore, AB, Kathryn Jackson (Geoff) of Waihi Beach, NZ, Andrea, Michael Thorley (Stephanie), Elizabeth, Charlotte, Henri, Frances, Stacy James of Fredericton, Canon, Christopher Brittain (Katja) of Toronto, ON. and Doreen Vautour of Halifax, NS.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
