She was predeceased by : her husband Clifford McKenney; her parents, Esley Adair and Verna Adair (Baxter); her siblings, Melbourne, Hartley, Otty Adair, Ethel McGaghey, Lois DeVine and Doris Payne; her grandchildren, Peter Ross and Kathryn Daye; and her son-in-law Neil Daye.

She is survived by : her children, Douglas McKenney (Mae) of Scotsburn, NS, Carl McKenney (Janice) of Caledonia, ON, Roy McKenney (Taka) of Cochrane, AB, Barbara Harrity (Ken) of Dartmouth, NS, Linda Daye of Rothesay, NB, Ruth Ross (Eric) of Golden Grove, NB and Janet Garvin (Norman) of Quispamsis, NB. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
