Daniel Gerald O'Neill Obituary
It is with heavy hearts, the family of Daniel Gerald O'Neill, 69, of Quispamsis, announces his unexpected passing on April 29th, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. This comes after a brief illness the last 10 months.
Danny was born in Moncton NB on October 5th, 1954, to his late parents Walter & Sheila (Steeves) O'Neill.
Danny is survived by his adored wife, his Queen of 50 years Debbie (Steele); his 3 children that he was so proud of: Jason (Sandra) of Manitoba, Tiffany (Steve) and Anthony (Sara) both of Saint John; his beloved grandchildren Brooke (Manitoba) and Logan. Also, his faithful canine Browning (babycakes).
Prior to his passing Danny worked as a Steel Fabricator and later years a Mechanical Engineer. Danny was a jack of all trades. He spent his days always working hard for his family. His words of wisdom and helping hand will be terribly missed by his wife and kids.
Danny enjoyed many interests including fishing, riding his Harley, poker, darts, and woodworking. Road trips weekly with his wife and wrestling matches with his grandson Logan. Danny was a perfectionist and strongly believed a job worth being done should be done right. He passed his dedication and strong work ethics to his children. Danny loved to spoil his family with all he had, always wanting to help.
Danny is predeceased by his parents and his in-laws Frank & Sally Steele; his brothers-in-law Frank Steele and Randy Sommerville, and sister-in-law Colleen Steele (McKee).
In keeping with his wishes, Danny will be cremated with a private family memorial at a later date. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Heart & Stroke foundation or Diabetes Association, or MS Association.
