She was predeceased by : her parents, James Burns and Marion Burns (Lawrence); her siblings, Robert "Bobby", James "Jimmy" Burns and Gloria Kilpatrick; her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Sleigh and Guy Tyler; and her nephew Mark Tyler.

She is survived by : her children, Steven Stanley (Darlene), Debra Stanley (Robert Irwin), Tammy Cassidy (Rick), Tina Frost (Vincent) and Sharon Hatfield (Wayne); her sisters, Florence Tyler (Dennis) and Josephine Sleigh; her brother-in-law Barry Kilpatrick; her grandchildren, Shane, Jeremy Stanley, Jillian Thomson, Rory, Erin Cassidy, Gabriel, Chloé Boudreau, Tess and Erik Hatfield; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Logan and Carter Stanley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
