Edna Irene Thorne Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Irene Thorne (Quispamsis, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Thorne and Rayfield Thorne; and her siblings, Gary (Florrie), Winston, Charles, Richard "Dick" Thorne, Harry Reid (Ilene) and Doreen Branton (Clayton).

She is survived by: her siblings, Pheobe Thorne (Eric), Dorothy Ridgeley (Charles), Louise Parsons (Tom), Julie Locke (Martin), Garfield Reid (Verly) and Ridge Thorne (Marjorie); her daughters, Terri Roberts (Craig) and Andrea Reid (Adam); her son-in-law Craig; and her granddaughter Gwen Roberts.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Faith United Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Edna's honor to her beloved hometown church, Faith United Church in Thornlea, Newfoundland, or to the Outflow Shelter in Saint John, New Brunswick.
