She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh McPherson; her parents, Francis Brooks and Margaret Brooks (Connor); her brothers, Larry and Lloyd Brooks; her son-in-law Douglas MacDonald; and her close friend Veronica Cantwell.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynda Giles of Summerville, NB; her grandchildren, Shawn McPherson (Heather), Taryn Giles (Fred MacNeill) and Shalyn McRae (Robert); and her great grandchildren, Tyler McLaughlin, Lauren McLaughlin, Jacey Giles, Charlee MacNeill, Jaden MacNeill and Sophie McRae. She is also survived by her great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews.
