She was predeceased by : her parents, Phillip Bowes and Jean Bowes (McCullough); her husband Malcolm A. Barry; her brother James Bowes; her granddaughter Mary Harroun; and her sister-in-law Barbara Bowes.

She is survived by : her children, Nicholas (Joann Hamilton-Barry), Saint John, Mary Beth Demers (Norman), Rosalie Harroun (Michael), Joanne Palmer (Robert), Patricia Barry (John Hondas), Barbara Reid (Brock), Margaret Britt (Paul), Gregory (Cathy), Wickham, Paul (Colleen), Monica Gallant (Paul), Angela McDougall (Harry), Jeffery (Diane) of Valley, NS and Phillip; her siblings, Rosalie Isele (Tom) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Phillip Bowes; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Bowes (Saint John). She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
