He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Jones (Resting) and Theresa Jones (Caissie); and his brother Daryl. He is survived by: his wife Stella; his daughters, Stacy Jones of Banff, AB, Tammy McCormick (David) of Saint John, Jennifer Richardson (Peter) of Oromocto, NB and Shauna Jones Hitchcock of Norton, NB; his siblings, Wayne (Sheila) of Saint John, Elmer (Cathy) of Kingston, NB, Herbert (Dorothy) of Kingston, Irvin of Bloomfield, NB, Bobby (Debbie) of Kingston, Donnie (Cindy) of Saint John, Michael (Wendy) of Saint John, Sharon Jones of Kingston, NB, Shirley Ficker (Norman) of St. Martin's, NB and Wanda Hachey (Jim) of Alberta; his grandchildren, Layla, Giana Hitchcock, Adrian Roy, Daniel McCormick and Eva Richardson; and his caregivers, Maddy, Sarah and April. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home (152 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis, NB E2E3S6). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
