It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gabriel Joseph Gallien of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, born in Saint-Simon, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alcide Gallien and Clara Gallien (Malliet); his daughter Marie Carole Gallien; and his siblings, Alcide Jr. and Murielle.

He is survived by : his wife Gisele (Robichaud); his children, Justin (Barb Cormier) of Saint John, Mireille Gallien (Dan Bursey) of Hampton, Valerie Tremblay (Chris Donohue) of Grand Prairie, AB and Stéphanie Gallien of Quispamsis; his siblings, Mario, Marcel, Rosemond, Claudine and Gisele; his grandchildren, Matthew Young, Haley Cormier, Eric Bursey, Nicholas Bursey, Katelyn Bursey, Alex Nyers, Victoria Nyers and Michelle-Ashley Nyers; and his great grandchildren, Payton, Landon and Abby. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Gabriel can be made to the Saint John SPCA, or to the Kidney Foundation, would be appreciated.
