He is survived by: his mother Dorene MacLong (Parlee); his wife Yan MacLong of Quispamsis; his children, Justin MacLong of Alberta, Alesha Allan (Nigel) of Ottawa, Michele MacLong (Lukas Rieswick) of Saint John, Matt MacLong (Maggie McGibbon) of Saint John and Christian MacLong of Quispamsis; his grandchildren, Oliver Allan, Lydia Allan and Thomas Rieswick; and his siblings, David MacLong (Norma) of Fergus, Lori Edgar (Will) and Cindy Lunn (Andrew) of Grand Bay. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
