With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John LeRoy Hovey of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John LeRoy Hovey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hovey and Melinda Hovey (Beck); and his brother Norm Hovey. He is survived by: his spouse Stanita "Neetie" (Saunders) of Quispamsis; his daughters, Susan McDermott (Mark) of Saint John, Debbie Peacock of Pennfield and Heather Hovey (Thomas Storring) of Dartmouth, NS; his siblings, Ann-Marie Tingley (Richard), Judy Queen (George), Doreen McGill, Larry Hovey (Sharalynn) and Eric Hovey (Linda); his grandchildren, Jessica Chappel (Craig), Sarah McDermott (Mackenzie Walsh) and David Storring; his great grandchildren, Connor and Norah Chappel; and his sister-in-law Carol Hovey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home (152 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis, NB E2E3S6). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
