He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Vernon Cogswell and Bertha Amelia Cogswell (Wasson); his brothers, Billy Wasson and Kenneth Wasson; and his niece Holly Lamoreau.

He is survived by : his wife Geraldine Cogswell (Fowlow); his children, Dana Kahkonen (William) and Shawn Cogswell (Natalie); his grandchildren, Josiah, Rebekah Kahkonen, Jordan and Liam Cogswell; his siblings, Heather White (Llew), Barbie Kennedy (Brian), Wayne Cogswell (Rosie) and James Wasson (Ivy); his sister-in-law Pam Wasson; his uncle Raymond Wasson (Barb); and his close friends, Rick, Bonnie Wilson, Bob and Marg Dunbar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory to Waypoint Church, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the NB Lung Association or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
