He was predeceased by : his parents, Avery Hatt and Jennie Hatt (Todd); his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Carrie Walker (late Raymond), David, Richard and Arthur (late Lillian).

He is survived by : his children, Kenneth Hatt, Tim Hatt (Debbie), Heather Duffley (Robert) and Christina Long (Gary); his grandchildren, Christopher, Amelia, Breanne, Luke, Kevin, Leah, Erica, Colby, James and Jared; his great grandchildren, Carter, Charlie, Kandace, Kacy, Toby, Elliott and Willow; his sisters-in-law, Betty and Frances Hatt; and also Lucien Doucette.

Due to COVID-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings, all those 12 and older attending visitation and service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID.
