It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Susan Smith (Quispamsis, New Brunswick), who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald R. Smith; her parents, Roy Murphy and Doris Murphy; her siblings, Tommy Murphy and Shirley Nightingale; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Nightingale, Daryl Murdoch and Lynda Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Hanson (Jeffrey) of Campbell River, BC, Kelly Smith-Dobson (Derek) of Quispamsis, NB and Kent Smith (Cora) of Elkford, BC; her grandchildren, Katelyn Tjia, Jenna Dobson, Kiley Ketchum, Gillian Dobson, Gregor Dobson, Madelyn Smith, Nick Murphy, Ryan Murphy and Merina Murphy; her siblings, Isabel Murphy, Alleen Parsons (David), Pat Murphy (Annie), Eleanor Murdoch, Karen Murphy, David Murphy (Donna), Janet Murphy (Sandy) and Rob Murphy (Sandy); and her sisters-in-law, Heather Stevens (Mark), Susan McAllister (Peter) and Tess Hooks. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home (152 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis, NB E2E3S6). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
