It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Lillian Walker (Quispamsis, New Brunswick), who passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Risk and Mary Risk (Simon); her former husband Larry; her siblings, Veronica "Tootsie" Lowney (Albert), Edward "Billy" Risk (Kay) and Dawn Saunders; and her siblings-in-law, Max Walker (Simone), Donald Walker (Annie) and Shirley Carlton (Murray).
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Walker; her son Wayne Walker (Trudy); her grandsons, Mitchell Walker (Alison) and Colton Walker (Kate); and her great grandchildren, Myles and Lyla Walker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory can be made to a local food bank of the donor's choice.
