She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Risk and Mary Risk (Simon); her siblings, Billy Risk and Dawn Saunders; and her siblings-in-law, Theresa Walker (Robert) and Lawrence Walker.

She is survived by : her husband Albert Lowney; her sons, Mark (Andrea) and Kevin (Joan); her grandchildren, Anthony, Jeffrey, Mya, Sara, Matthew, Jeremiah, Joshua, Brianna, Kaylee, Mieke, Nathalie and Jill; her great grandchildren, Seth, Kaden, Veronica, Rose and June; her sister Shirley Walker; her sister-in-law Kathleen "Kay" Risk; and her caregivers, Jackie, Rhonda, Betty, Team, Dr. A. Hoirch and Dr. L. Allaby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Romero House, Diabetes Canada or to a charity of the donor's choice.
