He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur McAllister and Dorothy McAllister (Steeves). He is survived by : his wife Deborah (Ryder); his daughters, Michelle McAllister (Gilles Gauthier) and Misty Glaspy (Stephen); his grandchildren, Jacob (Caitlyn), Jayme (Andrew), Cortney, Cayla and Caleb; his siblings, Evelyn Smith (Mac), Jim (Carol), June McGivern and Cindy Embro (Tom); and his sisters-in-law, Dareth Thorne (Reg) and Alda Ryder (Don Douthwright). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Wayne, to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation.
