She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred LaFrance and Phyllis LaFrance (Redmond); her sister Ivy LaFrance; her son Gary; and her brother Myles LaFrance.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Smith; her children, AJ Shenk, Melissa Hopper Colleen Hopper (Amanda) and Crystal Legere; her stepdaughter Angela; and her siblings, Diane Olsen (Leon) of Moncton, Faye LaFrance (Trevor) of Alberta, Nancy Fox (Ron) of Ontario and Gary LaFrance (Gilberte) of Mundleville. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four nieces, two nephews, and many friends.
