We bid farewell to Marie Babin of Rexton, New Brunswick, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 26, 2025. Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Richard and Ida Richard (Vautour); her husband Edmond Babin; and her siblings, Loretta, Germaine, Joanne, Vincent and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Kelly (late Erven), Maureen Jones (Billy), Christine Blanchard (Donnie) and Bradley Babin (late Georgette); her grandchildren, Randy (Jillian), Nathan (Roxanne), Robyn (Aaron), Ashley (Garet), Alexandra (John-Patrick), Janelle (Cody) and Samuel (Abbie); her great grandchildren, Liam, Elina, Aiyana, Emery, Mykelti and Isaac; and her siblings-in-law, Theresa Allain, Nellie Richard and Vance Patterson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel (33 Rue Acadie, Richibouctou, NB E4H2R6). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (8 School St, Rexton, NB E4W2E5).
Donations in Marie's memory may be made to the Rexton Lions Nursing home and would be appreciated by the family.
