She was predeceased by: her parents, David Harnett Sr. and Laura Whelan; her siblings, Jean Dunn, Iona and David; her grandsons, Daniel and Gabriel; and her nephews, Tommy and Art.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Hudson; her children, Bonnie Hudson (Alan) of Mundleville, Beverly Williams (Kim) of Shubenacadie, Verna Kuling (Norman) of Nerepis, Lawrence Murphy (late Kathy) of Saskatoon, Charlie Murphy (Anne) of Branford, Wally Murphy (Donna) of Dartmouth, Randy Murphy (Kathy) of Halifax, Tim Murphy (Tracy) of Halifax, Gerry Murphy (Shelley) of Moncton, Ricky Murphy (Adrianna) of Toronto and Marvin Hudson (Carla) of South Branch; her grandchildren, Michael, Gregory, Graham, Bella, Nicholas, Jack, Julia, Olivia, Liam, Luke, Kyler, Peter, Alex, Patrick, Becky, Bruce, Brittany, Derek, Hannah, Trestin, Jason, Karen, Amy, Kimmy, Kassandra, Madeleine and Zachary; and her sibling's children, Vicki, Dale, Kenny and Sonny. She is also survived by her 25 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Thompson's Funeral Home (33 Rue Acadie, Richibouctou, NB E4W 3V1). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (3380 NB-495, South Branch, NB E4W3L6).
