We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2021, Imelda Catherine (Cormier) McKinnon of Richibucto, New Brunswick, born in Rexton, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Philias Cormier and Pelagie Cormier (Allain); her husband William McKinnon; her children, Bernice McKinnon, Robert McKinnon (late Henrietta) and Bernard; her great grandchild Wyatt; and her siblings, Delia Bourgeois, Mamie Cormier, Leo and Ernest Cormier.
She is survived by : her children, Carol McKinnon (late Charlie) of Richibucto, Nora McKinnon-Strasser (late Tom) of New York and Norman McKinnon (Germain) of Pirogue; her grandchildren, Ronnie, Alan, Bill, Kevin, Craig, Charlie, Marla, Stephen, William and Chantal; her great grandchildren, Tanner, Robbie, Jesica, Heidi, Luke, Ethen, Andrew, Molly, Margo, Seth, Connor and Riley; and her daughters-in-law, Marie-Mai McKinnon (late Bernard) of Richibucto and Catherine Richard (late Robert) of Maine. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, visitors will be required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and government issued ID at the funeral home and at the church. Masks are mandatory and we ask that social distancing is respected.
