Margaret Christina Hermitage Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2025, at the age of 78, Margaret Christina Hermitage (Richibucto, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Seymour Hicks and Ethel Gaten. She is survived by: her husband Alan Hermitage; her daughters, Julia Hermitage-Kilkenny (Steve) of Riverview and Christina Melanson (Nate) of Cocagne; her sister Olive Briggs (late George) of Riverview; her grandchildren, Kayla, Charles, Eliza, Ella and Miguel; and her niece Krista Parent (Peter) of Riverview. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many close friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Thompson's Funeral Home (33 Rue Acadie, Richibouctou, NB E4W 3V1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Rexton Lions Nursing Home.
