With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Scott Bennett of Riverside-Albert, New Brunswick, born in Sussex, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Russell Scott Bennett to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Bennett and Eleanor Bennett; his half-brother Steven Crosswaite; and the mother of his children Cathy Ann Kavanaugh. He is survived by: his children, Amy Dawn Bennett (Mike) of West River, Jeremy Bennett (Alicia) of Edgett's Landing and Brad Bennett of Riverside-Albert; his grandchildren, Colton, Olivia, Khloe, Kaidyn, Brycen, Rowyn and Maralynn; his birth mother Beulah Crosswaite of Elgin; his half-sister Lisa Gillies (Brent) of Annagance; and his sibling's children, Tara, Kyle, Riley, Meaghan and Emily.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Albert County Funeral Home (4130 NB-114, Hopewell Cape, NB E4H). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Riverside-Albert Volunteer Fire Department would be greatly appreciated as it meant so much to Rusty.
