She was predeceased by : her parent Harry Cronkhite; her husband Perley M. Stairs; her son Robert Stairs; her siblings, Ruth Meldrum (Vernon), Jean Carson, Lloyd Cronkhite and Melbourne Cronkhite (Freda); and her nephew Brian Carson.

She is survived by : her parent Mildred Cronkhite (Burden); her grandchildren, Alissa Stairs (Jim), Natasha Fox (Aaron) and Yolandra Jordan (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Colton, Brogan, Maxwell and Jace; her daughter-in-law Donna Stairs-Hinton (Jimmy); her siblings-in-law, Anna Cronkhite of Fredericton, NB and Ralph Carson (Marguerite); her nieces and nephews, Eileen, Brenda, Cathy, Janet, Blake, Stephen, Diane and Keith; and also Temperance.
