He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sellars and Hilda Sellars (Kendall); his siblings, Flora Milley (Cecil), Pearl McNutt (Ron), Beverly Young (Bruce), Leslie Sellars (Marg), John Sellars (Kay), Eric Sellars and Allister Sellars (Linda); and his granddaughter Nicole Sellars.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Sellars (Wright); his children, Wayne Sellars, Philip Sellars (Angelica), Leona Dodge (Greg), Heather Sellars and Valerie Goguen (Jean); and his sister Joy Stock. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
