She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Blakney and Georgie Blakney; her husband Lyle Thomas; her siblings, Laura Deware (Toppie), Joy Conway and Mark Blakney; and her stepson Paul Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Trites, Peter Briggs and Andrea MacNeill (Al); her stepchildren, Brian Thomas (Wanda), Terry Thomas (Karyn), Michele Hargreaves (Chad) and Yvonne Steeves (Shawn); her grandchildren, Linsay Flowers (Jamie), Leanne Horsman (Matt), Max MacNeill, Nicole Thomas, Nathan Thomas (Becky), Madison, Quentin, Liam Hargreaves, Cameron and Danika Steeves; her great grandchildren, Matt Flowers (Stevie), Tristyn Flowers (Antonin), Wes Horsman, Ashlynn, Brielle, Lindon Traynor, Emma, Maddy Thomas, Ruairi and Oliver Sterling; and her brother-in-law Ken Deware. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
