He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Durnford and Alma Durnford; his son Marvin; and his siblings-in-law, Vera Durnford and Art Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Leah; his daughters, Joanne Hasselman (Mike), Karen Durnford-Benoit (Patrice) and Arlene Doherty (Gary); his siblings, Laura Parsons, Mae Lushman (Mike), Sam, Max (Catherine) and Harvey (Joan); his grandchildren, James, Taija, Chad, Kaitlin, Mitchell, Taylor, Hannah and Evan; and his great grandchildren, Christopher, Macey, Jemma, Marley and Owen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center (330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview, NB E1B0E4). A prayer was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location.
