He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Tait and Doris Tait (Gould); his wife Marion; and his sisters, Carthel "Sue" Mullins and Norma Goguen.

He is survived by: his children, Michael and Susan; his granddaughter Autumn; and his brother Floyd Tait (Pauline) of Moncton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that donations in memory of Arthur could be given to someone in need the way he would have done or to a charity of the donor's choice.
